I just want to send a thank you! I was one of your student at Jamie Aebersolds’ summer program last year (I’m the little guy with the blue Manzer ). Your book Jazz Improv. Method Vol II has been extremely helpful and I utilize the Minor sub as part of my palette with great enjoyment. I also did what you advised: learned the heads to 10+ songs, which allowed me to spend time not just comping for horns but fronting a guitar, bass, drum trio, etc: the music is opening up! Thanks
John
